The Venefit™ procedure is the only minimally invasive segmental radio-frequency (RF) ablation treatment that uses the Covidien ClosureFast™ Endovenous Radio-frequency Ablation (RFA) Catheter to collapse and close enlarged leg veins in patients with varicose veins and Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI). Varicose veins occur when valves in the leg veins, which carry the blood from the legs toward the heart, no longer function, causing blood to pool in the legs.
